Thematic Networking Group 2 looks at the importance of continuous professional development (CPD) for all learning professionals and the challenges involved.
It also considers how the Lifelong Learning Programme can provide such CPD opportunities.
The work of teachers, trainers and learning professionals is fundamental to the development and delivery of lifelong learning strategies throughout the UK and the EU.
The excellence of this workforce has a direct impact on the quality of teaching and learning provision. It is therefore important that learning professionals continuously improve their working practice. This can be achieved through participation in CPD.
