ECOTEC is currently seeking organisations willing to host a Study Visit in the UK for participants from across Europe in order to share their own expertise and good practices in education and/or vocational training. The visits will take place between September 2011 and June 2012, and will be included in the next edition of the Study Visits Catalogue which will be published in early 2011.

Visits can be organised around any one of a number of  themes which are all related to general education and VET. These broad themes will allow you to put together a programme which showcases your strengths and areas of interest whether it is in work place learning, use of ICT, entrepreneurship, language learning, active citizenship to name but a few.

If you would like to submit a proposal for hosting a visit between September 2011 and June 2012, you need to:

1. Read the categories of themes for the Study Visits programme for education and vocational training specialists and decision-makers 2011-12

2. Read our guide for applicants

3. Complete a catalogue entry

4. Complete a visit programme

5. Complete a covering letter and get it signed by a legal signatory of your organisation

6. Send your proposal by or on the deadline of 30 September 2010 (postmark) to the following address:
