Sharing good practice in education across Europe

Host a UK Study Visit

Host a UK Study Visit

The Study Visits programme is dependent on the generous commitment of organisations prepared to host visits in each of the participating countries.

A wide variety of organisations in the UK manage visits on general education, vocational training or topics common to both areas.

If your organisation is involved in education and training and you would like to showcase your innovative work or good practice in a particular area, then why not apply to host a visit?

Key Information

  • Host organisations run a programme of activities on a particular educational topic for up to a week (5 working days).

  • Hosts are responsible for organising a programme of visits to relevant organisations and policymakers - including visits to schools, colleges and training institutions.

  • Participants own grants cover their travel and accommodation costs.

  • The visit is a great opportunity to organise some cultural activities to really show your country or region to a European audience.

  • The deadline for applications for those organisations wishing to host a Study Visit in the UK between September 2011 and June 2012 is 30 September 2010.

Themes

Visits can be organised around any one of a number of themes related to general education and VET.
