Sharing good practice in education across Europe

Participate in a Study Visit

Participate in a Study Visit

If you are involved in education or vocational training as a specialist or decision maker, then you can apply for a grant to take part in a European Study Visit.

Each year a catalogue of visits in 31 countries is published and you can choose which visits you would like to attend. With visits on around 41 themes, you’re sure to find something interesting and relevant!

The next deadline for applications is 15 October 2010.

Key Information

  • Visits are organised according to the academic year.

  • Each visit is organised on a particular topic and will enable you to learn about the education systems and practices of the country you’re visiting.

  • You will be part of a group of education professionals so you’ll have the chance to share your expertise with your peers from across Europe.

  • The Study Visit programme is organised for you by the host organisation, and will last for up to a week.

  • The programme is managed at European level by CEDEFOP the European organisation for vocational training.

  • The next application deadline is 15 October 2010 for visits taking place between March 2010 and June 2011. Please visit  “How to Apply” for more details.

You can now search the online Catalogue of Study Visits for the 2010-2011 academic year (or download a PDF version)
